"Congressional leaders presented the Congressional Gold Medal in
honor of the 65th Infantry Regiment, known as the Borinqueneers,
which was made up of predominantly Puerto Rican soldiers. Presi-
dent Obama signed a bill in June 2014 awarding the medal."
